Good Money Week Launch Conference

We are really looking forward to the return of Good Money Week taking place between 3 and 7 October.

This is a chance to look at new research, discuss greenwashing, see how the most successful businesses are engaging the retail sector and talk about the demystification of ESG for the public.

We will be starting the week with the launch of our in-person conference on 3 October taking place at One Birdcage Walk in Westminster. This event will also be streamed online.

How do we fill the deforestation data gap?

Oct 5, 2021 02:00 PM BST

The climate crisis and the increasing likelihood of related regulation are fuelling a growing appetite from financial institutions for information on the environmental and social credentials of their investments and clients, including data that will support a move to deforestation-free portfolios. But how to identify if a company or client is deforestation-free or working towards this goal? This Good Money Week session will ask how we fill the deforestation data gap, drawing on the work of a new partnership initiative to provide Aligned Accountability.

ESG Investments - The Complexities of Transitioning to ESG

05 October: 3pm BST

Responsible, sustainable investment is not a trend. Corporations that conduct business in a respectful and sustainable way are more likely to be successful and profitable over time which benefits both investors and society alike.

This session looks at how ESG can be seamlessly and effectively incorporated into today’s investment portfolios. We will examine how delivering on ESG commitments makes great business sense but adds another layer of complexity to funds.
